CREED III: New Posters Signal the Return of Adonis Creed and His Newest Opponent for the Third Installment!

MGM has unveiled brand new character posters for the upcoming Creed III which brings back Michael B. Jordan as Adonis Creed as well as the next opponent he will be facing in Jonothan Majors (Da 5 Bloods). Check out the intensity in the new key art below!

Majors will be playing opposite Jordan and even though there aren’t any concrete plot details for the third film, we all know that there will be a lot of bloody history between the two as they will center the ring for the Heavyweight championship of the world come March 3rd, 2023, when the film finally hits theaters. Sylvester Stallone will noticeably be absent as the iconic Rocky Balboa as Sly said goodbye to the character in the last film. Stallone has been less than pleased with series producer Irwin Wrinkler who has the rights to Rocky. Winkler is famously attempting to spin-off Dolph Lundgren’s character of Ivan Drago and Stallone isn’t happy and wants the rights to the franchise reverted back to him.

Michael B. Jordan has made his directorial debut as he helmed Creed III taking the reins for Black Panther’s Ryan Coogler who directed the last two films. Jordan was busy with this one as he will, of course, be front and center in the movie as Adonis Creed who is the son to Apollo Creed played by Carl Weathers in earlier films. Even though Coogler isn’t directing this time around, his brother Keenan Coogler penned the script to the film.

A new trailer will drop later today so be on the ;lookout for it right here as we will get to see first look footage from the next main event that will hit next spring!
