The site was created in August of 2015 by John M Jerva who is the editor-in-chief and sole operator of the blog. John has been a super fan of the genre ever since he was a child and was able to grow up in the glory days of the 80’s and 90’s when action films ruled the box office and the home video market.

Action-Flix.com covers all the subgrenres as well such as action sci-fi, horror and westerns and tells it like it is when it comes to the industry. The site also focuses heavily on the independent film market and gives the filmmakers out there a platform for their visions in an attempt to get their product out to a larger audience.

2023 marks our eighth year covering all things action, and Action-Flix.com is moving ahead and has recently upgraded to a much more improved website platform so the sky is the limit. In the future, we are striving to bring you the best in action entertainment with more exclusive interviews and even more surprises coming down the road. We have also launched a YouTube Channel and Podcast in the next evolution for the website and have partnered with The Action Elite to bring you the best the action genre has to offer.
