Movies that contain sensational period style sword and sandal action or brutal tactical action from modern day are always on my card but to combine them in one film is a chef’s kiss. If you think that seeing present day mercenaries battle Qin Dynasty warriors utilizing swords, horses and bows and arrows would be nothing short of fantastic, you’d be right. The action set pieces and design are top shelf and fusing two periods of fighting styles together marks for an eye-popping experience with immersive tactics from two totally different ages of combat.
