Debuting today on Digital from Well Go USA, the dystopian action-thriller Warriors of the Wasteland (again, the title sounds like this film should be loving on the DVD shelf at the video store in the 90’s) has hit your nearest streaming store with the force of a thousand-ton nuclear warhead. The film follows a rogue warrior who navigates an unforgiving world with blood tipped sword in hand as he is set to dish out some massive vengeance and bloodletting. To celebrate the release, a new trailer has hit the web showcasing all the bombastic visuals in store for fans who check this one out so scroll below for a first look!
In a distant future following a nuclear catastrophe, the West Balkans have become a lawless wasteland where the most valuable currency is the bullet in the action-packed sci-fi adventure WARRIORS OF THE WASTELAND from Well Go USA Entertainment. A mysterious blind fiddler wanders the ruins, singing the legend of the “Grain People” — a peaceful community of wheat-growers who refuse to submit to a distant city’s tyranny. When a young warrior’s family is slaughtered by a deranged warlord, he embarks on a bloody quest for vengeance. Armed only with a blade and a motorcycle, he must navigate radioactive cults and hallucinations to protect the last remnants of civilization. Directed by Nemanja Ćeranić (Loan Shark), the film stars Igor Benčina, Isidora Simijonović, Sergej Trifunović, Marta Bjelica, and Jovo Maksić.

TRAILER TACTICAL REACTION: It’s that time again. Now I haven’t been able to check this one out yet, but I’ve been having fun reviewing trailers over the past few months so with Warriors of the Wasteland, the trailer is loaded with all the violence and bloodletting you could hope for. The story is nothing new here and all the usual post-apocalyptic tropes are here including the lone warrior on a mission of revenge, the savage and barbaric characters inhabiting the world and the Mad Max aesthetic. I’m pretty sure that if you go into this one knowing that it isn’t going to recreate a new genre, then you’ll probably be satisfied. After all, blending samurai sword action with ferocious firepower and heavy-duty weaponry is always a plus in my book. The cast, which is pretty much unknown look all in including Igor Benčina who looks brooding and deadly enough in the coveted role of one-man army. There looks to be ample sequences of beheadings, bullet riddled bodies and massive carnage to be had so why the hell not!
