Disney and Marvel Studios have given fans the news that they have been waiting fir in terms of casting. Well at least one of the casting announcements they have been waiting for with the rebirth of The Fantastic Four. After one indie B film that was only made to keep the license and never be released, followed by two mediocre movies and one hellacious remake that was a massive fumble on so many levels, marvel Studios is finally bringing the first family of superheroes into the MCU fold and today we definitely have the answer of who will be in the movie. Peek at who’s who below!!!
Pedro Pascal is Reed Richard AKA Mr. Fantastic

Vanessa Kirby is Sue Storm AKA The Invisible Woman

Joseph Quinn is Johnny Storm AKA The Human Torch

Ebon Moss-Bachrach is Ben Grimm AKA The Thing

Matt Shakman is set to helm the reboot for the MCU and I have to say I wish John Krasinski was still Mr. Fantastic as he portrayed him in Doctor Strange and the Multiverse of Madness. Alas, Pascal has the role now and I feel he can deliver as well. The rest of the cast is fine although there is no major WOW factor besides Vanessa Kirby who has become an in-demand actress over the last few years. Moss-Bachrach was solid on the Netflix The Punisher series so he should be a good fit as well and will be interesting to see how he does the character justice. Pascal is the most high-profile casting having been featured in several huge films and TV series with The Mandalorian being the biggest. Shaw coming in a close second with a starring role in The Crown as well as Hobbs and Shaw and this lends to be a movie that will make household names of Quinn and Moss-Bachrach.

It will definitely be a must-see project seeing as there have been so many failed attempts at bring the comic book property to the big screen. Roger Croman’s 1994 film is downright notorious as the film was never meant to be released at all. It has earned cult movie statues throughout the decades and has been sold on bootleg DVDs at various Comic Cons. There’s a fantastic documentary about it all that premiered on HULU a few years back. Director Tim Story took a stab at it in the 2000’s for 20th Century Fox and while still a misfire, they are better than the 1994 film starring a pre-Captain America Chris Evans as Johnny Storm. Those flicks were certainly better than the Josh Trank helmed fiasco in 2015 that was a huge critical and box office disaster. Expect The Fantastic Four to be teased in multiple MCU projects before their solo outing hits.
