The Beekeeper with the one and only Jason Statham is hailed as action gold and rightfully so as the action icon and director David Ayer delivered some of the best Statham brutality ever. How do you do an encore? Well, deploy The Night Comes for Us and Nobody 2 helmer Timo Tjahjanto to ramp up the violence, action design and Statham laced bombastic bravado.
The first trailer for The Beekeeper 2 has just dropped online and hardcore action cinephiles should get their fill of The Stath doing what he does best, and this follow up looks to blow the original away. Check out the Statham serviceable mayhem below!
Now a wanted man, former government assassin Adam Clay continues his vendetta against those who wronged him.
Timo Tjahjanto directs with Statham starring alongside returning cast member and Hollywood icon Jerem Irons as well as Yara Shahidi and the MCU’s Pom Klementieff. Umair Aleem & Kurt Wimmer penned the script.
TRAILER TACTICAL REACTION: Now what could I possibly say and what do you think I’ll say being a massive Statham fan. Well, for starters using Metallica for the music is a chef’s kiss while we see The Stath decimate a horde of enemy combatants with a supped up ’69 Dodge equipped with a mini-gun so there’s that. The trailer is rather short but it’s the perfect tease and the calm before the storm. Did I forget to mention that flamethrowers are involved as well? You betcha and while our first look is rapid-fire, it’s the perfect fusion of Statham godliness.
With Jason Statham back in full-force mode, The Beekeeper 2 looks ready to deliver an even bigger, bruising dose of action. If this trailer is any indication, fans should buckle up for one seriously explosive return.
THE BEEKEEPER 2- Only in Theaters January 15th, 2027!
