Breakout director Brandon Slagle returns with an all new thriller pitting man against beast in the adrenaline drenched film The Flood! From action scribes Chad Law and Josh Ridgway comes a thriller that channels such iconic films as Jaws and Alligator with an action centric twist as inmates in transport and their guards must battle for their lives when a flood unleashes one of nature’s most lethal predators. THE FLOOD is directed by Brandon Slagle (Frost, The Dawn) and co-written by Chad Law (Section 8, Close Range, 6 Bullets) and Josh Ridgway (The Sector, Howlers). The film stars Casper Van Dien (Starship Troopers, Alita: Battle Angel, Sleepy Hollow), Nicky Whelan (Hall Pass, Halloween II) and Louis Mandylor (The Debt Collector, Rambo: Last Blood, Suckers).
SYNOPSIS: A horde of giant hungry alligators is unleashed on a group of in-transit prisoners and their guards after a massive hurricane floods Louisiana.
The Flood mashes genres and gives fans a cross between Assault on Precinct 13 and Jaws with a cast that is battle ready for the thrill ride about to be taken.
Saban Films will release the action thriller THE FLOOD in Theaters, On Demand and Digital on July 14, 2023.
