It seems like every other day we mention a DTV Bruce Willis project with the trailer for his upcoming thriller Survive The Game dropping just the other day. That after his other new thriller Midnight in the Switchgrass with Megan Fox debuted on Blu-Ray last month. See what I mean? Don’t forget about Cosmic Sin with Frank Grillo hitting earlier this summer.
With that we have news for yet another Willis fueled project bring acquired for distribution as RLJE Films has picked up the sci-fi action thriller Apex with a launch date set for this November. It’s hard to keep up but it is fun to see how much screen time he has in these various flicks.

From director Edward Drake (Cosmic Sin), Apex has the following synopsis:
Serving a life sentence for a crime he didn’t commit, ex-cop James Malone (Willis) is offered a chance at freedom if he can survive a deadly game of Apex. Six hunters pay for the pleasure of hunting another human on a remote island, but once Malone arrives all hell breaks loose. Laying traps and playing mind games, Malone tries to turn the tables and fight for his life and his future.
The cast surrounding Willis includes Neal McDonough (Yellowstone, Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City) who I love in anything that he’s in as well as Lochlyn Munro (Riverdale), Megan Peta Hill (Open Water 3), and Trevor Gretzky (Spiral).
“This film brings a new twist to the definition of hunter versus prey,” said Mark Ward, Chief Acquisitions Officer at RLJE Films. “Bruce Willis and Neal McDonough go toe to toe with incredible intensity. We’re excited to bring this non-stop action thriller to audiences this fall.”
I know Willis takes hits for these films with many serving as mainly extended cameos but I’m such a fan that I enjoy seeing him in anything even if it’s only for a shirt time. I’m still bummed that it looks like he won’t be headlong one more Die Hard film but that is life.
Apex is set to hit theaters, On Demand, and Digital on November 12, 2021. Expect a trailer to hit at anytime.
