Bedlam is coming and Scott Adkins is about to strip it down to his most primal and savage level yet as his period actioner is storming the European Film Market on its way to worldwide distribution. The film marks a departure for Adkins as this is the first fight flick that takes place in a different century and in one of England’s most infamous asylums. Adkins has promised a visceral and unflinching underground tournament film that will rival no other and now we have another first look image from the film. Scroll below for the reveal!

Adkins shared the image of his character Jack Slack centering the ring with one imposing opponent. “First look at new movie Bedlam, currently doing the rounds at the European Film Market in Berlin,” Adkins stated on his official Facebook page.
The official synopsis for Bedlam reads: A fiery street boxer infiltrates London’s infamous Bedlam asylum to rescue his imprisoned sister, unleashing chaos in a brutal underworld of cage fights, corruption, and revenge.
Adkins has been hyping Bedlam up since production began earlier this year and this new one sheet will only whet our appetites for what is to come. Bedlam hails from director Jon Shaikh (Our World War) and while this is a new collaboration between Star and director, Bedlam looks to be on par with some of Adkins best work.
Capture, the UK located sales agent, has brought Bedlam to the EFM and the film has already to sold in the territories of Italy (Blue Swan), LATAM (Global Media Distribution), South Korea (Kinolights), Greece and Greek-speaking Cyprus (Spentzos) and Estonia, Portugal, Germany, Turkey and Scandinavia (Daro) per Screen Daily. Tiernan Hanby (Summit Fever), Robert Chadaj, Antoine Dixon-Bellot, Zackary Adler, Kevin Harvey and Andrew Loveday from Blackwater Pictures and Soho Film Development serve as producers.
We’ve seen the underground fighting tournament countless times before and Adkins even starred in the franchise that changed the game with the Undisputed films, but we can never get enough of this tried and true action film plot line especially when it’s done right. Who else to raise the trope to artistically brutal new heights then the man who is essentially a human special effect.
Bedlam is just one of six new flicks to hopefully hit in 2026 for Adkins. Adkins was already featured in the Netflix original The RIP which debuted this past January. Adkins shared the screen with Matt Damon and Ben Affleck in a powerhouse crime thriller that threw it back to the 70’s and 80’s when these thrillers ruled the cinemas. The other adrenaline approved entries are Breaking Cover, Reckless (which just hit Sky Cinema this past weekend), Skyline: Warpath (also staring fellow action star Iko Uwais), and One Last Shot which is the third in the one continuous take action/military franchise.
Lock ‘N Load for domestic distribution news for Bedlam and prepare yourselves for a year of tier one Ultimate Adkins Action in 2026!!!
