We’ve got some massive breaking news for hardcore action fans everywhere! Scott Adkins has just revealed that he will be taking on martial arts superstar Kane Kosugi once again for the upcoming One Last Shot. Scott made the announcement via his Scott Adkins Fan Club on Patreon, and this will be the second time that the two action phenoms will be throwing down as they already engaged in combat in Ninja 2: Shadow of a Tear. That fight is regarded as one of the best martial arts battles ever and it looks like we will get the rematch of a lifetime when the third installment hits.
Adkins posted the video of himself and Kosugi all bloody and beaten up as they had just finished filming their big sequence. To add more excitement for fans, Adkins also showed off some pre-viz rehearsals of the two practicing their movements for the big altercation that will be seen in the film and the moves shown were close quarters in nature with various hand strikes and elbows with a little knee action thrown in. Adkins also threw some major respect at Kosugi saying that he and Marko Zaror were the absolute best to work with. Adkins and Kosugi also used the word epic while describing the movie and their fight.

Details and plot synopsis are classified as of now but expect One Last Shot to feature Adkins as he returns as besieged Navy SEAL lieutenant Jake Harris who must make one final stand to stop a terrorist attack in the U.S. that started in the first film with an attack on a black ops site in Poland. The second film’s action immediately followed the events of the first film with Harris battling more terrorists including traitors of his own country in an airport. It is quite clear that Kosugi is an antagonist once again as the two battle in the movie.
The One Shot films are a kinetic and non-stop action thrill ride that features all the events of the films shot as if it was one take. This amps up the ferocious action design and tension giving viewers a full throttle experience that never lets up until the end credits roll. The films are nonstop with savage and ferocious combat including both firepower and fisticuffs with some of the best CQB stunts ever captured on the screen.
One Last Shot is directed by James Nunn who helmed the first two entries. Jamie Russell penned the script which also sees Steven Cree and Jess Khan-Lee starring in the film as well. Austin Wintory is back also composing the music for the film.
Expect more breaking intel to hit in the near future as One Last Shot is in production as we are the ultimate destination for your action fix!
