We are one week out from another salvo of Sniper action as Sony is readying to unleash the twelfth installment of the action franchise that cannot be stopped. This time series regulars Chad Michael Collins, Ryan Robbins and the OG sniper Tom Berenger have been disavowed, and they are up against everyone in the newest chapter Sniper: No Nation. There’s no back up, no room for error and no one more trained to save the day so my money is still on them because the bad guys have poked the beast and he is hungry.
New images have been released for Sniper: No Nation showcasing the cast and we also have a longer synopsis to go along with the blaze of glory footage released in the trailer that hit a few weeks back. Scroll below and check out the Becketts in action one more time!

A covert operation in Costa Verde explodes into an international scandal, and the U.S. government responds by disavowing the Global Response & Intelligence Team (G.R.I.T.), branding its operatives as terrorists. Hunted by the very country he served, Ace sniper Brandon Beckett (Collins) goes AWOL only to learn that the Phoenix Rebellion, his last remaining allies, has been decimated by the Iron Legion, a mercenary force working for Costa Verde’s ruthless Prime Minister. With fellow soldiers imprisoned and scheduled for public execution, Brandon reunites with his father, legendary sniper Thomas Beckett, brother-in-arms Agent Zero, and a handful of rebels for an off-the-books rescue mission against impossible odds. As time runs out for his friends and global tensions rise, Brandon faces his most dangerous fight yet — without a flag, without backup, and without mercy.

Trevor Calverley directs this time around from a script penned by Sean Wathern and Manuel Rodriguez-Saenz, who also appeared in The Last Stand, returns for this go around as Nova. Josh Brene rounds out the cast. The action looks plentiful and visceral, and fans of the franchise should get their fill of adrenaline and carnage with superior firepower and brutal beatdowns. The Sniper films look to reinvent themselves with each entry and that is a recipe for success as this is the 12th film of the series. Collins has firmly cemented himself as a legit action star and Robbins is equally bad ass. Berenger showing up is just plain icing on the cake and this one looks as advertised with ample bullets and bravado for a fierce Saturday night viewing with beer and pizza!
