After using the bootleg image of action star Scott Adkins standing in a Japanese Karate Dojo, we now have our first official image from his upcoming WWII Bloodsport style martial arts actioner titled Death March! Adkins has been using his social media and his official Patreon page to showcase some new images and now we can share the first one which shows Adkins holding a practice weapon ready for combat. Scroll below for the look!

Along with the image, Adkins also shared the synopsis for the film which details a British officer (Adkins) named James Wright who is forced into prison camp death matches by the Japanese during the Second World War. The joke is on them though as they didn’t count on Wright being a lethally trained fighting machine who gives them all more than they bargained for after training for years in Hong Kong. Can you say oops?
Official Synopsis: A British RAF Wing Commander James Wright is captured by the Japanese during WWII and forced to fight in brutal hand to hand combat. The Japanese soldiers get more than they bargained for when Wright’s years of martial arts training in Hong Kong prove him to be a formidable opponent.
Adkins longtime collaborator and friend, veteran action star and filmmaker Louis Mandylor, helms the pic. Both stars have been featured together numerous times in films like The Debt Collectors franchise as well as Avengement and the upcoming Skyline: Warpath.
With Mandylor behind the camera and Adkins dishing out his signature action design, expect brutal, no holds barred fight sequences from start to finish.
Sho Kosugi’s son Shane Kosugi (9 Deaths of the Ninja) also stars in the film. The additional cast is a stacked one as it also features MMA bad boy Donald “Cowboy” Cerrone who also starred with Mandylor’s other WWII directorial effort 3 Days in Malay.
Additional cast includes Michael Copon, a fellow Power Ranger and star of the recent Michael Jai White action-thriller As Good as Dead as well as Peter Shinkoda (Godzilla, The Predator), Michael Rene Walton as Beard, Gary Cairns as Jonesy, Gabbi Garcia as Theresa, and Masanori Mimoto, who is a force in onscreen martial arts action, as Captain Endo. Mimoto is best known to western audiences having appeared in Baby Assassins and Hydra. Kosugi will play the character of Hirano while Cerrone will portray Captain Collins.
Aside from this film, which is not on Adkins or Mandylor’s IMDb pages, Mandylor also has the action films Operation Blood Hunt (starring himself along with Jonathon Rhys Myers and Quinton “Rampage” Jackson) and Smokers to add to his directing arsenal. Adkins will, of course, also be seen in September’s The Killer’s Game with Dave Bautista as well as Take Cover, the aforementioned Skyline: Warpath with Iko Uwais, and Diablo which reunites him with Marko Zaror. If that wasn’t enough, Adkins will also be going one on one with martial arts action star Alain Moussi in the final installment of director Dimitri Logothetis’ Kickboxer reboot franchise Kickboxer: Armageddon!
Death March, like I said, is now in production so Lock N Load right here for more Intel to come including more images, footage and more as we are your destination for your Action Fix and everything Scott Adkins!!!
