Original Post: If you you were hoping that a movie with former MMA stars putting bullets in Neo Nazis was going to happen, then you’re in luck as Uncork’d Entertainment is locking and loading for a summer release for its newest actioner Operation Black Ops.
Just the title alone screams Saturday night good time and you can’t go wrong with former UFC champions taking out the trash in unapologetically indie B action movie fashion in the like of an Expendables movie. This should get you appropriately juiced up for that one. I mean come on, usually you only get on MMA superstar and here you get two for the price of one. UNCORK’D ENTERTAINMENT TAKES ORTIZ – CYBORG ACTION TITLE ‘OPERATION BLACK OPS
Action-thriller Operation Black Ops, starring MMA icons and former UFC Champions Tito Ortiz and Cris Cyborg, has been acquired by Uncork’d Entertainment.
Operation Black Ops, directed by Jamaal Burden, also stars Mike Ferguson, Kelsey Johnson, Mike Markoff, Paul Bikibili, JD Ellis, Alicia Gakima, Rafael Cansino, JR Orvalle, Jenna Pena, and Mario Torres.
A group of mercenaries are hired to overthrow a Neo-Nazi stronghold nestled deep in the heart of Texas, only to discover they are protecting nuclear codes that could ignite World War III.
“Featuring high velocity action sequences and plenty of bullets, Operation Black Ops will keep action audiences enthralled.” said Keith Leopard, President Uncork’d Entertainment. “If you love The Expendables movies, you’ll definitely want to check this one out when we release this summer.”
Operation Black-Ops will release on Digital and DVD July 11.
