Spidey Faces Familiar Foes in New Key Art for SPIDER-MAN: NO WAY HOME!

By: John M Jerva

December 17th is almost here and with it the release of the highly, and I do mean highly, anticipated Spider-Man: No Way Home will finally swing into theaters.

A lot has been made about this next entry in the MCU and the rumor mill has been in full effect since day one. Will Andrew Garfield and the OG Spidey Toby Maguire show up? This might be the world’s worst kept secret at this point but it’s looking like this installment is going to be loaded with fun surprises and reveals.

Marvel has issued a new one sheet for the movie which features Tom Holland’s version of everyone’s favorite web slinger taking on some very familiar foes. Hey, is that Green Goblin all the way in the background?

Another big takeaway from the new key art is that the rogues gallery of Green Goblin, Doc Ock, Electro and The Sandman are all apparent and will definitely be in the movie. It’s shaping up that The Sinister Six will finally make its appearance in a Spider-Man movie. After all, we all knew that the Sinister Six was teased in the last film with Garfield before it was all scrapped and rebooted into the Sony/Marvel incarnation of Tom Holland.

Jamie Foxx is expected to return as Electro along with Alfred Molina as Doctor Octopus who will be two of the central villains in the sequel as is teased in this first trailer. No Way Home will tie into the upcoming Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.

Tom Holland returns as everyone’s favorite Web-Slinger and he’s joined by Benedict Cumberbatch as Doctor Strange, Zendaya (Euphoria, Dune) as MJ, Jacob Batalon (50 States of Fright) as Ned, Marisa Tomei (The King of Staten Island) as Aunt May, Tony Revolori (The French Dispatch) as Flash and Hannibal Buress (Tag) as Coach Wilson.

Expect another tantalizing trailer to drop between now and then so keep it locked and loaded right here for more to follow as we are your destination for everything action!

In the meantime, check out the teaser that hit back in August and see if you can pick upon all the Easter Eggs!
