ZACK SNYDER’S JUSTICE LEAGUE Finally Gets a Confirmed Release Date!

By: John M Jerva

Zack Snyder took to Twitter to finally announce a confirmed release date for HBO MAX’s highly anticipated Justice League which is affectionately known as Zack Snyder’s Justice League. The filmmaker made the announcement by sharing three brand new posters which you can see below with the March release date!

As you can see from the new key art above, one says “Reborn” while the other two display “Fallen” and “Risen” respectively. Many fans have been waiting patiently for a date and now we know that it will finally grace us with its presence on March 18th on the streaming service. The cut is a whopping four hours long which will make it the longest comic book themed film ever surpassing Avengers: Endgame. It was initially thought that this version of the film would be broken into four hour long episodes but Snyder himself debunked that by saying that it will be one, complete movie.

Fueled by the hero’s restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman’s selfless act, Justice League sees Bruce Wayne enlist the help of his newfound ally, Diana Prince, to face an even greater enemy. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to find and recruit a team of metahumans to stand against this newly awakened threat. But despite the formation of this unprecedented league of heroes—Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg, and The Flash—it may already be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.

The movie stars Ben Affleck as Batman, Henry Cavill as Superman, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Jason Momoa as Aquaman, Ezra Miller as The Flash, Ray Fisher as Cyborg, Willem Dafoe as Nuidis Vulko, Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor, Jeremy Irons as Alfred Pennyworth, Diane Lane as Martha Kent, Connie Nielsen as Queen Hippolyta, with J.K. Simmons as Commissioner Gordon, and Amy Adams as Lois Lane.

Snyder and Warner Bros. have both publicly announced that this is a one shot deal and there will be no sequels but we all know never to say never and hopefully if this does well, Snyder could maybe revisit it and complete his story arc.

March is shaping up to be a pretty historic month for the new service as Godzilla VS Kong is also set to hit on March 31st which is a newer release date from the initial March 26th. Check out the latest trailer for the evnt filom below and mark March 18th on your calendars accordingly!
