THE KING’S MAN: Director Matthew Vaughn’s KINGSMAN Prequel Brandishes a New Teaser Trailer!

Director Matthew Vaughn has certainly injected a jolt of freshness in the spy action genre with his Kingsman films and now we have a brand new teaser trailer for his upcoming prequel film that gives us a backstory on the creation of the epic and secretive group of spies from the first two films.

The prequel stars Ralph Fiennes who takes on the lead and mentor role much like Colin Firth did in the previous installments. He is joined by a stellar cast that includes Gemma Arterton, Rhys Ifans, Matthew Goode, Tom Hollander, Harris Dickinson, Daniel Brühl, Djimon Hounsou, Charles Dance and the one and only Liam Neeson. If that isn’t a greatcast then I don’t know what is.

As a collection of history’s worst tyrants and criminal masterminds gather to plot a war to wipe out millions, one man must race against time to stop them. Discover the origins of the very first independent intelligence agency in The King’s Man.

Vaughn, of course, helms again from a script penned by Karl Gajdusek (Stranger Things). The tone seems to divert from the tongue in cheek style of the other films and it has an epic war movie vibe to it. Right up my alley.

The Kingsman films are based on the comic book series “The Secret Service” by Mark Millar and Dave Gibbons.

The King’s Man doesn’t hit theaters until February 14th of next year so we ahve a bit of a wait but enjoy the new teaser below!
