Production is now well underway for director Zack Snyder’s zombie action-horror heist movie Army Of The Dead and we now have official confirmation of the complete cast that will be joining Dave Bautista for the “balls out” thriller!

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Omari Hardwick (Kick-Ass), Chris D’Elia (You), Hiroyuki Sanada (Westworld), Raul Castillo (Vida), Nora Arnezeder (Origin), Matthias Schweighöfer (The Manny), Samantha Win (Wonder Woman), Rich Cetrone (Thor) and Garrett Dillahunt (Fear the Walking Dead) will join Bautista and Ella Purnell for Snyder’s Netflix battle royale that is now filming.

The official plot which was hatched by Snyder as well as  Joby Harold and Shay Hatten who penned the script reads as follows: Following a zombie outbreak in Las Vegas, a group of mercenaries take the ultimate gamble, venturing into the quarantine zone to pull off the greatest heist ever attempted.”

Snyder originally was developing the film ever since 2007 over at Warner Bros. but obviously things have strained over the years so now Netflix has taken over and is reportedly putting a ton of cash into the film with an estemated budget between $70-90 million dollars so expect a full on zombified action thrill ride from the genre master.

Snyder is also producing as well alongside his wife Deborah Snyder and Wesley Collar for The Stone Quarry as Ori Marmu and Andrew Norman will oversea the movie for Netflix.

Snyder actually started his directing career with the 2004 remake Dawn Of The Dead so expect this entry to be even more off the hook. Personally I was sold when it was announced Bautista would be playing a merc taking on the undead.

Keep it locked and loaded right here for more tasty details to come from Army Of The Dead!!!!
