A viscous warlord is about to discover that he picked the wrong fight with the wrong woman in the upcoming action-thriller Hunting Jessica Brok. The Most Dangerous Game takes on a new and ballistic life in the film that Quiver Distribution is setting up for a February release. Danica Jones is action cinema personified and we have the new trailer, poster and images for you to wet your appetite for some bloodthirsty action!
Synopsis: Jessica Brok, a former elite Black Ops soldier, has left her violent past behind in rural South Africa. But when an old ally betrays her, she’s captured by a ruthless warlord she once hunted. With her daughter caught in danger, Jessica must escape a deadly compound and face mercenaries, forcing her to become the killer she vowed never to be again.

Alastair Orr directs the impressive looking action film with Garth McCarthy, David. D Jones and Orr himself penning the script. This trope has been tried and true for countless years but there’s something always titillating about hunting humans that strips human nature down to its savage core. Word of advice though. If you’re going to pick someone to throw out in the jungle and hunt, make sure they’re not a former elite Black Ops soldier with some serious PTSD that makes her even more lethal and animalistic.

The action looks kinetic and relentless, and Danica Jones sells the film in the lead as a mother and soldier who has absolutely everything to lose. I’ve seen this one running about on the net and I’m happy that it’s finally coming to North America in February. The film looks to have everything action fans can hope for with firepower, close quarters combat and freaking crossbows which are always welcome in my book.
