While investigating the history of a newly discovered ancient artifact, a renowned archaeologist (Jackie Chan) unwittingly establishes a mystical connection with a heroic Han dynasty general, blurring the lines between past and present right as the general prepares to wage war against the brutal Hun army.

A Jackie Chan release is always cause for celebration amongst action faithful and A Legend looks to invoke a little of that Jackie magic along with sweeping cinematography, lush visuals and bombastic action sequences that range from martial arts infused chaos to ravaging battlefield war. Some might scuff at the de-aging process when it comes to Chan but hopefully that won’t be a huge part of the proceedings. This one should be a welcome addition to any Jackie Chan fan’s home filmography.
