It’s like Cole Trickle is back except that instead of Tom Cruise and race cars, we get K.J. Apa and motorcycles. OK, so maybe it’s not as great as Days of Thunder but hell the trailer for One Fast Move looks promising enough and it also stars Eric Dane and Edward James Olmos which are two solid choices so feel the need for speed and watch the new trailer for Prime Video’s upcoming race flick!
ONE FAST MOVE is an action-adventure thrill ride about a young man down on his luck who seeks out his estranged father to help him pursue his dream of becoming a professional motorcycle racer. With the help of his small town love interest and a motorcycle shop owner who moonlights as his mentor, he begins to break down the walls that his father’s absence had built up.
Along with Apa, Dane and Olmos, the cast also includes Maia Reficco with Kelly Blatz helming. From the trailer, fans can see that all the usual race film tropes are present including hotshot rookie, hotshot rookie’s hot on again /off again girlfriend, hotshot rookie’s problems with his dad that lead to more dramatic turmoil, hotshot rookie stumbling and falling which almost takes his career away from him and finally hotshot rookie rising again like a phoenix from the ashes just in the nick of time before the end credits roll. Even though this is tried and true tested, and we’ve seen this a million times (isn’t Brad Pitt doing a race movie?), I’ll still be watching.
One Fast Move roars onto Prime Video on August 8th so rev up those engines and push it to the limit!
