For a while there, it looked like North America would never get an official 4K Blu-ray release of the Academy Award winning Godzilla Minus One even with the film hitting Digital and Netflix a month ago. Fear not Kaiju fanatics as the iconic monster is not only coming to 4K in September but it will stomp in with a glorious 4-disc collector’s edition which will include the original feature film along with the Minus Color version. It’s important to note for collector that this North American 4K release is the exact same one that Japan received a few months ago so Kaiju lovers will get all the bells and whistles for the release that Japan got. Thanks Toho!!! No worries, the meus will be in English so yeahhhhh!
The release will cost a whopping $65 bucks though, but it will be worth it to finally add this one to any serious collection. It is expected to ship sometime in September so lock n load right here for more Intel to follow!
