If the initial trailer, blood-soaked clip and my general word of mouth wasn’t enough to get you excited for Kill which is being hailed as India’s bloodiest action movie, then let me show you the second trailer. In it, head star LAKSHYA delivers even more (if that’s possible) blood drenched stabbing action in a film that looks to set a record for the most creative and awesomely brutal ways to dispatch a bad guy in an action movie. Oh, and the trailer ends by our lone hero setting a guy’s head on fire. Top notch. I’ve said it all about this one so just scroll below and view the next unmatchable and savage plateau for action cinema for yourself.
When army commando Amrit (Lakshya) finds out his true love Tulika (Tanya Maniktala) is engaged against her will, he boards a New Delhi-bound train in a daring quest to derail the arranged marriage,” reads the film’s official synopsis. “But when a gang of knife-wielding thieves led by the ruthless Fani (Raghav Juyal) begin to terrorize innocent passengers on his train, Amrit takes them on himself in a death-defying kill-spree to save those around him — turning what should have been a typical commute into an adrenaline-fueled thrill ride.

Tanya Maniktala stars alongside Lakshya along with Raghav Juyal, Abhishek Chauhan, Ashish Vidyarthi, Adrija Sinha, Harsh Chhaya, and Parth Tiwari. Really though, who cares who’s in this movie because it’s all about the savage fight action and design that takes CQB to another level.
As foreign action films go, most fans gravitate towards Asia to get their adrenaline fix but India is still making its case for putting out high quality ultra-action with films that contain the most insane set pieces imaginable. The action scenes in Indian movies literally chew up the screen with jaw dropping, gravity defying sequences that out a lot of other films to shame.
The film is notable for being Bollywood’s first foray into this kind of high-octane action genre franchise. The film’s lead Lakshya, who portrays a commando soldier fighting to protect a train full of innocent passengers from dangerous robbers, stars in a breakout performance that can help launch him into a noted action star in India and beyond.
