Complex Corp and Maverick Film have unleashed a new trailer, images and key art for the upcoming WWII action-thriller Murder Company starring Kelsey Grammer. The guns blazing wat pic centers on a squad of U.S. soldiers who are tasked with going behind enemy lines with a French resistance fighter to eliminate a high value target. Things don’t go to plan and the soldiers must run and gun through an army of Nazi units to complete their mission and make it out alive. Check out all the goods below!
Synopsis: In the midst of the D-Day invasion, a group of US soldiers are given orders to smuggle a member of the French resistance behind enemy lines to assassinate a high-value Nazi target.

Starring along with Grammer are William Moseley, Pooch Hall, Gilles Marini, and Joe Anderson. Shane Dax Taylor, who I had the chance to interview for his action film The Best Man with Dolph Lundgren and Luke Wilson, helms the war epic from a script penned by Jesse Mittelstadt.
War films, especially WWII movies can be hit or miss in the DTV market these days depending on budget set pieces and realism, but Taylor is a solid talent behind the camera and the trailer looks promising with frequent battle sequences and gravitas fueled moments from Grammer himself. This one looks solid enough to check out upon release and for fans of war period actioners.
