Back in April, action cinema fans were treated to some new images from action icon Donnie Yen’s upcoming martial arts action The Prosecutor (AKA Misjudgment). Yen is attacking the judicial system with fists and feet of fury and Yen is back kicking ass after starring in the much-maligned Polar Rescue. New key art has just surfaced showcasing Yen in full judicial garb and sporting a bloody fist of judicial vengeance! Check out the new poster below!

The official synopsis, courtesy of our friend The Arty Dans at Asian Film Fans, reads: Misjudgement is about a man who is framed for drug trafficking by a criminal syndicate in order to protect the identity of the real culprit. Yen plays the older version of the character whose case has been taken on a new prosecutor who risks his career to reveal the truth.
Ho Pong Mak (the Breakout Brothers trilogy) is in the director’s chair for this one with Kang Yu (Wu Xia, Big Brother) and Julian Cheung (All U Need is Love, The Grandmaster) rounding out the supporting cast. The Prosecutor is a Mandarin Motion Pictures and China’s Huace Pictures’ release.
The images released a few months ago showed off Yen as he was combing firepower and fisticuffs that will most likely please his legions of fans this time around. Check out the pics again below!
The initial teaser poster offered a mystery for fans as it looked like more of a legal drama than an outright actioner, but the new images and key art will put disciples at ease. While the plot does immerse itself in legal drama, Yen will still be kicking that ass.
