Update: We have new Intel on the stateside release! Sony Pictures Entertainment is releasing One More Shot a few days after the UK launch. North America will see the movie on Digital platforms starting January 16th!
(Original Post) Well it’s about time! With only a little over a week before it hits Sky Cinema in the UK, we finally have received the official trailer for One More Shot starring Scott Adkins! Scroll directly below and watch Adkins go into tactical beast mode on an army of insurgents below!
Following the attack on the black site in Poland, Navy SEAL Jake Harris is ordered to escort terrorist suspect Amin Mansur to Washington D.C for interrogation.
The teaser shows just enough to wet our collective appetites with Adkins storming the gates with his signature action and lethal precision. To put the bloody cherry on top, we also get to see White unleashing his savage moves as well (even though they spoil a major plot thread about him) making this movie the first must see action film of 2024. I do believe this will be the Undisputed 2 rematch we have all been holding our breath for.
One More Shot was helmed by returning director James Nunn with a solid and sensational cast that includes action star Michael Jai White and Hollywood icon Tom Berenger lending his trailer load of gravitas to the proceedings. Alexis Knapp rounds out the cast.
2024 is literally only four days old and Adkins has already had a busy year with this offering as well as the upcoming Take Cover and the news that he’s joined Iko Uwais in Liam O’Donnel’s Warpath. Make no mistake though, One More Shot is looking to be the definitive Scott Adkins movie and besides Undisputed, this might be that other franchise he’ll be known for. Just saying.
This trailer is locked n loaded with glimpses of top tier Navy SEAL heroics and bravado and the choreography from resident ass kicker Tim Man looks bone crunchingly fan-friggin-tastic. Throw in the fact that the movie is shot in a way to make it look like one continuous take just adds to the hyper realism of the action set pieces and being able to fully see the action star do his thing clearly does justice for the action cinema genre.
One More Shot will debut as a Sky Original on Sky Cinema starting January 12th. Sony will be releasing the film stateside a few days later on January 16th so we only have a few extra days to wait. Stay Tuned……oh yeah, lock n load for more Essential Adkins Intel in 2024!
