We have some rather rad casting news to report this first day after the 4th of July and it concerns the all-star action pic The Killer’s Game which will be helmed by veteran action maestro JJ Perry (Day Shift). This project has been kicking around for years now but it would appear that it’s finally gaining momentum including an Expendables worthy supporting cast to take on star Dave Bautista.
It would appear that John Wick Chapter 4 alums Scott Adkins and Marko Zaror will be a few of the assassins who will take on Bautista when he stars as “veteran assassin Joe Flood (Bautista), who when diagnosed with a life-threatening illness, authorizes a kill on himself to avoid the pain that is destined to follow. After ordering the kill, he finds out that he was misdiagnosed and must then fend off the army of former colleagues trying to kill him.”
Other noteworthy cast additions include Sofia Boutella (Rebel Moon), Ben Kingsley (Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings), Pom Klementieff (Mission Impossible: Dead Reckoning Part One), Ice Cube (The High Note), WWE super star Drew McIntyre, Shaina West (The Woman King), Lucy Cork (Black Widow), Daniel Bernhardt (Extraction 2), and Lee Hoon (The Love is Calling).
I actually just spoke with Daniel Bernhardt last week for his role in Extraction 2 and he mentioned this project in our exclusive interview that will be out next week on The Action Fix Podcast. This film is clearly shaping up to be an action extravaganza and with Perry at the helm, the set pieces will be off the hook.

And with JJ Perry at the helm, we know this film will deliver the kind of wholly original and unique action that global audiences crave,” stated Mad Chance’s Lazar when Deadline first reported on the movie.
