We are mere days away from the release of FAST X and for some reason, the powers that be have felt that you haven’t seen enough of the movie in previous trailers, so they’ve launched a brand new, final trailer that lasts over 4 minutes. So if you don’t want to be spoiled, stand fast and don’t watch it below!
In 2011’s Fast Five, Dom and his crew took out nefarious Brazilian drug kingpin Hernan Reyes and decapitated his empire on a bridge in Rio De Janeiro. What they didn’t know was that Reyes’ son, Dante (Jason Momoa), witnessed it all and has spent the last 12 years masterminding a plan to make Dom pay the ultimate price.
Dante’s plot will scatter Dom’s family from Los Angeles to the catacombs of Rome, from Brazil to London and from Portugal to Antarctica. New allies will be forged and old enemies will resurface. But everything changes when Dom discovers that his own 8-year-old son (Leo Abelo Perry) is the ultimate target of Dante’s vengeance.

The above footage shows off even more vehicular warfare as well as shots of the Star soaked cast that includes
Diesel has also stated in recent days that they are now planning on the finale to be a trilogy. That’s right peeps! Now instead of it not being one finale, or a two prong attack, it’s going to be three films. Personally, I think Diesel doesn’t want it to end because this is his most famous franchise. Aside from the Riddick films, that have not made even close the crazy money the F&F films have, this is it for the actor because any other effort at starting a new, potential franchise is squashed almost immediately. Bloodshot anyone?
Anyway, the movie stars a bevy of Hollywood celebrities including Vin Diesel, Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson, Chris “Ludacris” Bridges, Nathalie Emmanuel, Jordana Brewster, Sung Kang, Jason Statham, John Cena, Scott Eastwood, Helen, Mirren, and Charlize Theron.
New additions include MCU star Brie Larson as Tess, a rogue operative from the Agency; Alan Ritchson (Reacher) as Aimes and he is the new head of the agency who isn’t a fan of Dom and his crew as his predecessor Mr. Nobody played by Kurt Russel who disappeared in the last film was, Daniela Melchior is playing a Brazilian street racer who is an important piece to Dom’s past, and Rita Moreno as Dom and Mia’s Abuelita Toretto.
Personally, I’m most excited for The Stath as it looks like he’s going to get ample opportunity to steal the show in terms of action. Momoa looks fantastic and is chewing up the screen and word has it that this is the best villain yet. Way to go Aquaman!
Fast X will be the prequel for the ultimate finale of the Fast & Furious franchise, which was just announced that Louis Leterrier will be back to helm after taking over on X after Justin Lin abruptly exited.
Fast X will race into theaters this Friday on May 19th. Then fans will have to wait two years to see how the saga ends, or doesn’t as there are now 3 planned films, with the release of Fast X: Part 2 in 2025. No definite release date has been announced as of yet.
