Live him or hate him (and you know you love him) Steven Seagal has left his mark on action cinema forever. Seagal, at one time, was the premiere action star of the 80’s and into the 90’s with his onscreen dominance and his lightning quick Aikido moves.
Seagal burst onto the scene in 1988’s Above the Law which combined Seagal’s larger than life persona and martial arts expertise infused with a hard R rated cop thriller.
On this week’s Action Elite Live, Eoin, J-Man, Charlie Chase and myself dissect the movie and give our expert opinions in that the movie did wrong and what it didn’t. There’s no denying that Above the Law is a solid action pic and is one of the best action cinema intros ever. Watch the full episode below!
