WOLF PACK: New Images Surface for Max Zhang’s Upcoming Military Actioner!

By: John M Jerva

It was way back in October of 2020 when I first wrote about a new military style action pic headlining international action star Max Zhang.

Now we have some new updates for you in the form of fresh images courtesy of AFS on Twitter from the film which was once known as Career as a Mercenary. The new title is now Wolf Pack and you can check out Zhang and company in the gallery below!

Ever since starring with Donnie Yen in Ip Man 3, Zhang has been on a roll the last few years deivering some high caliber action films and now it looks like he will be enlisting for a new military style actioner from director Michael Chiang who makes his debut with the film. Zhang has since gone on to star in the action films Master Z: Ip Man Legacy, Escape Plan: The Extractors and The Brink.

Plot details are scarce for the time being but judging from the new poster, Zhang and company look locked and loaded for a rumble. Zhang stars along with Aarif Lee (Bruce Lee, My Brother) and Jiang Luxia (Double World).

Jackie Chan was attached to produce the movie with Liu Ye at one time but things changed however and Zhang is now headling the new film which is currently filming with an estimated release scheduled for next year. Chiang is best known for wrting the Singapore film Army Daze (1996) and is now helming the movie which looks like it will be right in my wheelhouse.

You can also take a look at the original teaser poster that were launched for the film and hopefully we will get some footage and release info soon.

Keep it locked and loaded right here for more to come with Wolf Pack as we are your destination for everything action in 2022 and beyond!

In the meantime, check out Zhang in action as he takes on the one and only Tony Jaa in the full throttle fight sequence from Master Z!
