Disney has dropped a brand new trailer for it’s next Star Wars limited series which will see Ewan McGregor return as the iconic Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi. The below tease looks epic with John Williams’ masterful Dual of the Fates (my favorite piece of Star Wars music) playing in the background. Take a look!

Official Synopsis: The story begins 10 years after the dramatic events of Star Wars: Revenge of the Sixth where Obi-Wan Kenobi faced his greatest defeat—the downfall and corruption of his best friend and Jedi apprentice, Anakin Skywalker, who turned to the dark side as evil Sith Lord Darth Vader.

McGregor is joined by Moses Ingram (The Queen’s Gambit), Joel Edgerton (Star Wars: Episode II – Attack of the Clones, Star Wars: Episode III – Revenge of the Sith), Bonnie Piesse (Star Wars: Episode II – Attack of the Clones, Star Wars: Episode III – Revenge of the Sith), Kumail Nanjiani (Eternals), Indira Varma (Game of Thrones), Rupert Friend (Homeland), O’Shea Jackson Jr. (Godzilla: King of the Monsters), Sung Kang (F9: The Fast Saga), Simone Kessell (Of Kings and Prophets), and Benny Safdie (Uncut Gems).

Most notably, Hayden Christensen returns as he will now be playing Darth Vader as this series takes place after the fall of the Jedi in Revenge of the Sith.

After the stumble that was The Book of Boba Fett, this series looks like it’ll correct that and certainly looks like it could be a theatrical movie with the special effects and grand adventure.

Obi-Wan Kenobi premieres on May 25th only on Disney+!
