I’ve got a real special guest on this new episode of the Action Fix Podcast. May action fans out will know Dean Cochran from the early 2000’s Nu Image action flicks Air Marshal, Shark Zone and Target of Opportunity. The versatile actor has also seen roles in Joel Schumacher’s Phone Booth which starred Colin Farrell. Cochran has spent many years in the film industry in front of and behind the camera as he’s starred in numerous TV shows like Mortal Kombat: Conquest, Silk Stalkings and more and has led a successful career as the Director of Post Production for New Regency Films which saw hiM, working on such Academy Award winning films like 12 Years a Slave and Birdman.

Dean is also a trained martial arts expert and has two Black belts in the disciplines of Kung-Fu and Kenpo and has won numerous championships in tournament competition. Dean had the distinct honor of working with action icon Chuck Norris in The Cutter which happened to be Chuck’s final film before he retired.
On this episode of The Action Fix, Dean stops by and takes a little time out of his busy schedule to talk about his career in action films as well as other movies he’s worked on throughout the years. Dean also gives us some behind the scenes stories of his time with Nu Image and talks stunts and fight choreography. We also get into his martial arts training and how he got into the film industry to begin with in this exclusive, candid conversation.
