Fans of wrestling and pandemic action-thrillers will have much cause for celebration next month as Uncork’d Entertainment will unveil its latest action pic with a pandemic twist. The film is called Lockdown and it features wrestling hall of famer Kevin Nash in a brutal and unflinching thriller from director Micah Lyons (The Runners), To celebrate the announcement that the full throttle actioner is hitting DVD and VOD next month, we have brand new key art, images and official trailer for you to check out on this fine Friday.
An action-thriller in the vein of the John Wick and Equalizer film series, the film tells of an angry mob, fed up with a deadly virus that has wiped out most of the population, that attack a school to rid their city of those they suspect are spreading the disease. One man must rescue his sister and fight his way out, against the armed militia.
Written and directed by Micah Lyons (The Runners), LOCKDOWN also stars David Ford and Stephanie Kae Smith.
