Welcome to FOOT FIST FRIDAYS! A weekly dose of fight action where the Action-Flix.com experts share their thoughts on some of the greatest scenes of fisticuffs in action cinema history!

Action sensation Scott Adkins returns to FOOT FIST FRIDAYS this week as The Cinema Drunkie gives his take on the fan favorite scene where the Phenom takes on two of the best in Michael Jai White and Ray Park in the epic two-on-one brawl from the Adkins’ sensational comic book adaptation ACCIDENT MAN. Three Martial Arts legends dish it out as only they can in a fight scene that has to be watched more than once! Take it away Cinema Drunkie!

I love Accident Man. I love it as if it were my own flesh and blood. Nah, I take that back. If I had kids, I’d probably love Accident Man more. Ahhhh! I’m just kidding, I don’t want kids. Anyways, one of the things I love about it is its action scenes. One in particular scene. I’m of course talking about the fight between Scott Adkins and Michael Jai White/Ray Park.

Before I go any further, let me provide some context: Adkins plays Mike Fallon, a career hitman who specializes in making his hits look like accidents. After his ex-girlfriend is murdered, he goes on the hunt for her killer. He finds the perpetrators in Mick & Mac, his fellow hitman comrades. While inquiring into who ordered the hit on her, they get into a major exchange of fisticuffs. And that brings us to the subject at hand.

This fight scene is probably one of my favorite fights ever. To be honest, I practically watch this scene everyday. No joke. Either on my way to work or home, I pull out my phone and watch fight scenes. And I always end up watching this fight. I love it that much.

I mean, how could I not? The pairing of iconic martial arts action stars such as Scott Adkins, Michael Jai White and Ray Park in a scene where they fight each other is enough of an event on its own. But to also have it directed by action auteur Jesse V. Johnson, and choreographed by ace fight coordinator Tim Man? This is epic status here, people!

I just can’t get enough of it. The way MJW & Park tag team him endlessly, and the way Adkins goes back and forth between both of them simultaneously. This is just masterfully put together. Salute to everyone involved with the making of this scene, and the whole movie for that matter.

And now, without further ado, please enjoy this amazing scene from Accident Man:
