With the premiere date for the first epiosode of the eigth and final season of Arrow rapidly approaching, The CW has released a new and extended first look trailer which showcases a lot of new footage from the upcoming swan song and also gets fans excited for the Crisis On Infinite Earths crossover event which just recently revealed that Tom Welling would reprise his role of Clark Kent from Smallville. Check out the new teaser below and prepare yourselves because all good things must come to an end.

Season 8 Synopsis: After spending time at Slabside, Oliver Queen wanted to give back to the city that he loves. Since everyone knows his true identity, Team Arrow worked alongside SCPD as vigilantes to help protect the city at all costs. However, last season led to Oliver finding out about Emiko, the bow-wielding assassin and ring leader of the Ninth Circle who also happened to be his half-sister. The season 7 finale saw them fighting for their lives-both in the present and the future. So, what will the state of Team Arrow look like in the show’s eighth and final season?

Stephen Amell returns, of cousrse, as Oliver Quen/The Green Arrow along with returning cast members David Ramsey as John Diggle, Katie Cassidy as Laurel/Black Siren, Rick Gonzalez as Rene Ramirez/Wild Dog, and Juliana Harkavy as Dinah Drake AKA Black Canary. The new addition for the last season includes Charlie Barnett (Russian Doll) Diggle, Jr. who is the Flashpoint born son of Diggle (David Ramsey) and Lyla Michaels (Audrey Marie Anderson).

I was able to see Stephen live at last month’s Boston Fan Expo where he spoke about the last season and you can check out my exclusive report with photos here!

The final 10 episodes will kick off on October 15th so check out Amell in action one more time in the new trailer below!
