Well this was unexpected and it sure is a pleasent surprise as Sony Pictures has just dropped an official first trailer for the highly anticipated sequel Bad Boys For Life which reunites Will Smith and Martin Lawrence as Mike Lowry and Marcus Burnett in the third outing for the fearless crime fighting duo who are about to dish out some good old fashioned justice and one liners one more time. Check out the hijinks and action below!

The new installment centers on the Miami PD and its elite AMMO team’s attempt to take down Armando Armas, head of a drug cartel. Armando is a cold-blooded killer with a vicious, taunting nature. He is committed to the work of the cartel and is dispatched by his mother to kill Mike Lowery. Paola Nuñez will take on the role of Rita, the tough and funny criminal psychologist who is the newly appointed head of AMMO and Mike’s former girlfriend… the one who got away.

Returning for more fun are Joe Pantoliano who reprises his role of Captain Howard along with Theresa Randle who once again plays Marcus’wife Theresa. New cast members include Vanessa Hudgens (The Princess Switch), Alexander Ludwig (The Hunger Games) and Charles Melton (Riverdale) who are all part of an elite, new police unit that will clash with Mike and Marcus’ old school tsctics. Jacob Scipio (Hunter Killer) Returning for more fun are Joe Pantoliano who reprises his role of Captain Howard along with Theresa Randle who once again plays Marcus’wife Theresa. New cast members include Vanessa Hudgens (The Princess Switch), Alexander Ludwig (The Hunger Games) and Charles Melton (Riverdale) who are part of a new police unit that clashes with Mike and Marcus’ old school tactics. Jacob Scipio plays the ruthless drug cartel leader Paola Nuñez and DJ Khaled also stars in an unspecified role.

Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah helm the film and take over for Michael Bay and the script was written by Joe Carnahan (The A-Team) and Chris Bremmer. Jerry Bruckheimer once again serves as producer.

Bad Boys For Life hits theaters next year on January 17th! Shit just got real people! Whatchya gonna do when they come for you?!!!!

  1. I can’t wait! This looks like they nailed the blend of silly and badass that the first two brought us. Also, it looks like the new directing duo was able to emulate the feel and aesthetic of a Michael Bay movie. I was excited for this one before, but this trailer got me 100% on board. I’ll be seeing this in the theater on day one!
