Action genre buffs have certainly come to know martial arts sensation Max Zhang as of late as the international star has been seen in some grade A Entertainment like Master Z: Ip Man Legacy and also in Stallone’s Escape Plan: The Extractors.

Well Go USA, who distributed the former in cinemas this past spring are also unleashing another title in Zhang’s arsenal with the release of the action drenched The Brink. The film will hit shelves this August on Blu-Ray Combo Pack And DVD and we have the official cover art for you below!

The manhunt is on when a reckless police inspector embarks on a mission to crack down on a gold smuggling scheme in the action-packed thriller THE BRINK,debuting on digital, Blu-ray™ Combo Pack and DVD August 20 from Well Go USA Entertainment. The first feature film from Director Jonathan Li, THE BRINK stars rising action star Max Jin Zhang (Ip Man 3, The Grandmaster, Pacific Rim: Uprising), Shawn Yue (The Guillotines, Legend of the Fist: The Return of Chen Zhen), Yue Wu (Ip Man 4: The Finale) and Janice Man (Cold War II).  Bonus features include a “Making of” featurette.

Jonathan Li was nominated as Best New Director for THE BRINK at the 2018 Hong Kong Film Awards, while Chung Chi Li was nominated for Best Action Choreography for his “impressively staged action sequences” (Screen Anarchy).

Official Synopsis: “A renegade cop is on a mission to bring a shady smuggler to justice by any means necessary. When his investigation leads to a Triad mob boss and global smuggling ring, his manhunt quickly turns from local misconduct into a violent international incident. To make things even more exciting, Well Go USA will also be debuting The Brink On it’s official Asian action streaming service HI-YAH! as well. Fans can get all the shots of action they can handle for only 2.99 a month on most streaming devices so it’s a good deal all around.

The Jonathon Li helmed Film is being touted as one of the best action-thrillers of the year so be sure to add this one to your list of must see adrenaline rushes.
