When a retired assassin is forced to take up arms once again when a colleague’s son is in danger, revenge and redemption will use six bullets to get the job done.

Revolver Lily is oozing with old school aesthetics and looks to slow burn until it erupts with ferocious violence and gunplay. The film’s lead Ayase Haruka looks amazing in the role of retired killer woken to a new mission of vengeance and the stylish look harkens back to the glory days of Asian Action Cinema. Synopsis:

Once upon a time, Yuri was one of Japan’s deadliest assassins, but she’s retired now and spends her days running an underground brothel. A news report about a former colleague who has died under mysterious circumstances doesn’t quite sit right. The dead man’s son is now the target of a military manhunt, and Yuri will do whatever it takes to keep him safe.

From acclaimed filmmaker Isao Yukisada, director of the cult classic Go, comes the stylish action-thriller REVOLVER LILY, debuting on Digital on January 27 from Well Go USA Entertainment. The film stars Ayase Haruka (Our Little Sister, Ichi) — who was nominated for Best Actress at the 2024 Japanese Academy Awards for her work in the title role — as one of Japan’s deadliest assassins, who may be retired and working as a brothel madam, but when her former colleague dies, she uses her still formidable skills to rack up an impressive body count to protect his young son.

Based on the novel of the same name by Kyo Nagaura, the film also stars Hasegawa Hiroki (Shin Godzilla), Hamura Jinsei (Gold Boy), Shishido Kavaka (Trillion Game), Furukawa Kotone, Shimizu Hiroya, Jesse Sato Jiro, Fukikoshi Mitsuru, Uchida Asahi, Itao Itsuji, Hashizume Isao, Ishibashi Renji, Abe Sadawo, Nomura Mansai, and Toyokawa Etsushi.
