Fans of Orlando Bloom are about to see the actor in a whole new light as the versatile performer is going all in for his latest film which exhibits a raw, visceral and gritty tone from start to finish. Titled The Cut, Bloom stars as a down and out boxer who tries for a savage comeback that unfortunately might rip him to pieces in the process.
Altitude has released a brand-new trailer along with images for The Cut which hails from director Sean Ellis. The film will see a release in UK and Irish theaters starting on September 5th so scroll below for the latest footage!
Synopsis: After a career-ending defeat, a former champion trains for redemption – but as obsession takes hold and reality unravels, he may be spiraling into something far more terrifying.
Bloom stars along with Caitríona Balfe and John Turturro with Justin Bull penning the script from an idea by Mark Lane. We’ve seen many films on boxing in the past, but this one looks brutal and unforgiving with Bloom delivering an award winning like performance along with Turturro who looks to steal the show. It does look like a hard watch however but one that might be worth it giving the audience an immersive and visceral experience into the unforgiving world of professional boxing.
