Action icon Scott Adkins is about to have a pretty busy 2025 as the star has a multitude of projects set to hit the masses at different times throughout the years. One such hotly anticipated film is the WWII fight film Death March which hails from Adkins’ Debt Collector co-star Louis Mandylor. Directing the film, Mandylor is no stranger to action having starred in several action vehicles throughout the years and recently has seen him putting his talents behind the camera.
Adkins stars as a POW forced to fight to the death by his Japanese captors in brutal Bloodsport style matches and the film was acquired last year by Well Go USA. The script was penned by Marc Clebanoff from an idea that was conceived by Adkins and the film promises to contain plenty of the action star’s signature action design. The official plot for Death March reads: A British airman washes ashore after being ejected from his plane and becomes a prisoner in a Japanese-run POW camp. While waiting to join the infamous Bataan death march, the airman is tortured by the camp commander and is forced to fight for his life against an array of skilled Japanese warriors. Adkins portrays the airman. Veteran actor Peter Shinkoda (I, Robot, Daredevil) plays the camp commander. (Per Deadline)
Aside from this film, Adkins has several other movies waiting in the wings including Skyline: Warpath with Iko Uwais, and Diablo which reunites him with Marko Zaror. Adkins also recently wrapped production on a new action-thriller called Reckless which sees him taking on Vinnie Jones.
