Dusting himself off from Expend4bles and the fallout of its failure at the box office, action star Jason Statham is set to return next January in one of his most ambitious projects to date…The Beekeeper. The Stath is a one man wrecking crew hell bent on making numerous and nefarious individuals pay the most violent way in this one and we have the red band trailer for you to prove it!
In The Beekeeper, one man’s brutal campaign for vengeance takes on national stakes after he is revealed to be a former operative of a powerful and clandestine organization known as “Beekeepers.

It’s no secret that Statham is probably top five of my favorite action stars and could possibly be in the elite three. The Beekeeper looks brutal with Statham unleashing his signature skill set in a hard R rated feature that pulls no punches. I had some issues with the latest Expendables movie but in all I loved it and one of the main reasons was Statham taking over in the third act and eliminating enemy soldiers with some major extreme prejudice. He’s definitely an action icon no question.
It’s also a bonus as David Ayer helmed the pic and he’s known for directing some unflinching action films like End of Watch and Fury. Putting Statham with Ayer is a stroke golf genius as Ayer has the same vision for action films as the star does.

It’s all here in the latest trailer from Statham’s elite fighting tactics and CQB expertise to the inevitable one-liners. I’ve read in the past that Statham plays the same role in all his movies but I say it’s not broke so don’t fix it as The Stath is in full on combat mode here.
I knew there was an underlying reason as to the title of this one and that Statham wasn’t going full on Mother Nature on us dressing up in that outfit. Elite action and violence is in order so get ready.
Expose the Corruption. Protect the Hive.
