Update: On the heels of the rad new R Rated trailer that dropped today, we also have individual character posters featuring the movie’s main Old Blood cast including Stallone, Statham, Couture and Lundgren. All four are the only original cast members to star in all four entries. Check out the mercs below!
We also have the new blood including 50 Cent, Andy Garcia, Megan Fox and international action maestros Tony Jaa and Iko Uwais!
(Original Post) Well there ya go everybody! For all of you that cried wolf when Expendables 3 was rated PG-13, Lionsgate and Millennium Films have given you a nice little present with a bloody bow on it in the form of a new red band trailer for The Expend4bles! I’m going to stop talking now and just let the footage below sink in as I’m sure there will be those that will still complain about something but I’m going to go on record saying F&CK YEAH! September 22nd is the date so mark your calendars accordingly!
A new generation of stars join the world’s top action stars for an adrenaline-fueled adventure in Expend4bles. Reuniting as the team of elite mercenaries, Jason Statham, Dolph Lundgren, Randy Couture, and Sylvester Stallone are joined for the first time by Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson, Megan Fox, Tony Jaa, Iko Uwais, Jacob Scipio, Levy Tran, and Andy Garcia. Armed with every weapon they can get their hands on and the skills to use them, The Expendables are the world’s last line of defense and the team that gets called when all other options are off the table. But new team members with new styles and tactics are going to give “new blood” a whole new meaning.
I was psyched before as this is one of my favorite action franchises (yes I even love 3 so fucking sue me!) but I’m even more jazzed with this latest trailer that showcases more R rated carnage, profanity and 80’s era style action goodness. I’m sold and will probably see this one more than once before it leaves theaters as there’s enough bullets, explosions and high powered fight action to satisfy even the most jaded of fan and you know who you are.
Statham officially takes charge with this entry and going forward so it looks like we’ll get more installments in the future. Like they say in the trailer, they f&cking heard you because there’s some massive damage going on in the sneak peek and if you’re not happy we’ll…F&CK OFF 😊!!!!!
