I truly hope that Dolph Lundgren is doing well after news broke a while back of his secret years long battle with cancer. From the looks of things, he’s kicking the disease in the ass and taking names to boot as he has not one but two action offerings on the horizon.
Lundgren will next be seen, of course, when The Expend4bles hits theaters on September 22nd as his character Gunner Jensen is back for a fourth go around with all the boys. Lundgren also has a smaller protect set to hit soon and this one he not only stars in but he directed, co-wrote and produced it as well.
After years off from directing, Lundgren returned to the chair for Castle Falls which was shut down after one day of production due to the lockdown. Lundgren and his co-star Scott Adkins were able to complete the movie after almost a year off from it.
The new movie is called Wanted Man from Millennium Media and Lundgren is looking for a little retribution and justice as he stars as a cop who must run a gauntlet of enemy combatants when he’s tasked with escorting a key witness to safety after a cartel attack leaves several DEA agents dead. To make matters worse, he discovers that the hit was caused by those who are supposed to be on his side. Uh-oh!

Lundgren is joined by a solid cast of noteworthy genre actors including Kelsey Grammer, Michael Paré and fellow 90’s VHS action star Michael Worth (Final Impact, US SEALS 2) who also co-wrote the script with Lundgren.
