He’s been gone for decades now but there is no denying that Bruce Lee isn’t as popular as he was at the height of the legend making movies back in the 70’s. Lee will always be a true pioneer of martial arts and action cinema and he only made a handful of films before his untimely passing away. Those movies including Fists of Fury and Enter the Dragon have always been considered as master classes as how to do martial arts action on screen the right way and Lee, even though he’s been gone, is still the premiere action star.
This generation is about to get some Bruce Lee led awesomeness as his sister is at the forefront of keeping his legacy alive. With that, Shannon has announced that a new ANIME series featuring her famous father is set to unleash its fists of fury in 2024.
Titled simply House of Lee not much is known about the project but a rad teaser was released showcasing just a little taste of what’s in store for martial arts action enthusiasts. Check out an animated Bruce Lee doing what he does best below!
We do know that House of Lee was developed by Shannon Lee and it is official with it being under the Bruce Lee Entertainment banner with content platform Shibuya and its co-founder and artist Emily Yang. The animation looks great and expect some intense and realistic fight choreography to go along with it and a true representation and likeness of Bruce Lee for fans old and new to enjoy.
Deadline states that, “House of Lee is an action/fantasy series that sees Bruce Lee fighting to assemble his Dragon Warriors before the world plunges too far into darkness and shadow. It takes inspiration from the famous Bruce Lee quote, ‘Those who are unaware they are walking in darkness will never seek the light.’”

Shannon Lee also made an official statement with regards to the new series and how ANIME is perfect to keep Bruce’s legacy alive:
“Anime is an amazing medium for telling a truly creative story where Bruce Lee can be Bruce Lee. I’m so excited for the possibilities for action, fantasy, history, culture, and creativity within this medium,” Lee stated.
The teaser is just that. A teaser. It’s roughly around 30 seconds long and it showcases Lee warming up similar to his pre-routine in his iconic fight with Chuck Norris in The Way of the Dragon. That is followed by fast images of the show so don’t blink or watch it as many times as you like to soak it all in.
The trailer is also set to debut during the forthcoming celebration of Enter the Dragon‘s 50th anniversary with special 4K UHD screenings of the movie set to hit over 650 theaters on Sunday, August 13 and Wednesday, August 16. The screenings will feature the House of Lee trailer which is above but if you want to see it on the big screen then by all means check out the exclusive screenings on the dates mentioned so Chris k your local listings.
LOCK N LOAD right here for future Intel on House of Lee as it’s set to kick its way to the public sometime in 2024!
