First, let me just say that I hope that all fanboys out there are doing OK with the announcement that Disney and Marvel Studios will be slimming their movie and TV series output down yearly from like 80 to 40. Are you doing alright with this stunning update? OK, moving on…

With that bittersweet news, we now have a brand-new trailer for the Nick Fury led limited series Secret Invasion which will see Samuel L. Jackson reprise his iconic role from the MCU films. To go along with the trailer, brand new and stunning key art, I say stunning because it has Jackson on it, has been unveiled as well for the show that will see Fury battle the Skrulls who are an alien race that can assume the identity of anyone. It’s a perfect case of not knowing who you can trust when even your closest ally can be the enemy. Check out the comic book infused goods below!

This is the first limited series of the MCU’s Phase V and future shows in this current phase will include season 2 0f Loki, the second season of What If…?, Ironheart, Echo, Agatha: Coven of Chaos, and Daredevil: Born Again which I can say is the one everyone is waiting for now that it is confirmed that Mr. Bernthal will be returning as The Punisher.

“We don’t know who’s a friend, who’s the enemy…There’s a political aspect that kind of fits into where we are right now. Who’s okay, who’s not? What happens when people get afraid and don’t understand other people? You can’t tell who’s innocent and who’s guilty in this particular instance,” Jackson stated in a recent interview.

Jackson stars in the series along with  Ben Mendelsohn (returning as Talos), Cobie Smulders (S.H.I.E.L.D. agent Maria Hill), Don Cheadle (James Rhodes), Olivia Colman, Emilia Clarke, Kingsley Ben-Adir, and Christopher McDonald. That’s a stacked cast if you ask me. Good “ol Disney, they always get the best talent for their gigs.
