The esteemed character actor Lance Reddick has passed away. The gravitas infused actor was best known for playing The Continental concierge Charon in the John Wick movies but he’s been in so much more.

Reddick was also famous for starring on the Fox television series Fringe and also appeared in Godzilla vs Kong to name a few.

My favorite memory of Reddick came in the blockbuster 2019 sequel John Wick Chapter 4 Parabellum when he finally got out from behind the desk and aided Keanu Reeves’ John Wick in the spectacular action finale. Reddick looked like a pro as he shot down multiple assailants and he injected some juice into the set piece.

Reddick will next be seen in John Wick Chapter 4 when it hits theaters next Friday. It’ll definitely be a bittersweet affair now to watch the movie ti say the least.

Reddick will sorely be missed. He elevates any project he was in with just his mere presence. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family as he’s worked his last shift at The Continental.
