Hong Kong action Cinema is definitely trying to keep up with other Asian countries for adrenaline supremacy and with neighbors like South Korea really lighting it up in the genre, they certainly have their hands full when it comes to jaw dropping, gravity defying stunts and set pieces.
Well, Raging Fire’s Nicolas Tse and Jacky Cheung is back to help his nation out with his latest explosive endeavor called Customs Frontline. A new trailer is now online and it definitely delivers in the firepower, fisticuffs and explosions departments. Check out Tse, who’s on the good guys side this time around as he goes ballistic in the latest footage!
Plot details are still non existent but judging from the title and the posters, there is going to be a lot of military style action to go along with the fisticuffs.
Cheung and Tse lead an impressive ensemble cast that includes Karena Lam (Inner Senses, July Rhapsody) and Francis Ng (Infernal Affairs 2, Bullets over Summer). Other notable cast additions include Liu Yase (Limbo), Michelle Wai (Caught in Time, Triad), Angus Yeung (Raging Fire), Melvin Wong (Above the Law), Ben Yuen (Tracey, Anita), Amanda Strang (Final Romance).
Brahim Chab, who took on Scott Adkins in Boyka: Undisputed 4 and Abducted as well as Jackie Chan in Vanguard, is bringing his high flying martial arts skill set to the film as the villain.
Albert Yeung of Emperor Motion Pictures is serving as the producer. The production company is also responsible for international rights licensing of the movie.
It’s also important to note that Tse will be getting his feet wet as the film’s action and fight choreographer as well as playing the heroic lead. Tse is no stranger to onscreen fight action so he will definitely bring something new to the table here.
Also known as War Customized, expect the title for Customs Frontline to change when it hits North America. Keep it locked and loaded right here for more details to drop!
