So it appears that Bruce Willis secretly did film the other two films in the Detective Knight franchise as a new trailer for the 2nd entry has just gone online. This installment is called Detective Knight: Redemption and it sees the icon returning as Detective James Knight in another round of bullets and corruption as well as a holiday theme as the villain is dressed up as a rather demented looking St. Nick, awesome. Check out the new promo below!
Official Synopsis:
Bruce Willis stars as Detective James Knight in this second film of the action-packed trilogy. In custody in New York, Knight finds himself in the middle of a jailbreak led by The Christmas Bomber, a brutal fanatic whose Santa Claus disciples are terrorizing the city. With the promised return of his badge in exchange for taking out the terrorists, the steely-eyed Knight doles out mercy for the just…and merciless justice for all the rest.
Paul Johansson (Martial Law 2: Undercover, Highlander: The Raven) also stars with Edward Drake once again directing.

So in doing my due diligence for you all, I have found out that the franchise will be completed as the third film titled Detective Knight: Independence will in fact hit on January 20th of next year. Just like the second film takes place during the holiday season, this one will be on Independence Day. Edward Drake directed this one as well so he has helmed the entire franchise. The synopsis for the finale is below.
Detective Knight: Independence
Official Synopsis:
Detective James Knight ‘s last-minute assignment to the Independence Day shift turns into a race to stop an unbalanced ambulance EMT from imperiling the city’s festivities. The misguided vigilante, playing cop with a stolen gun and uniform, has a bank vault full of reasons to put on his own fireworks show… one that will strike dangerously close to Knight’s home.
Paradise City, which pits Willis against John Travolta hits theaters and VOD this Friday. I will definitely be watching that one for review and will check out the Detective Knight films as these are the last flicks for Willis.
Detective Knight: Redemption is set to be released by Lionsgate Films in limited theaters and VOD on December 9, 2022.
