THE PILOT: The WWII Thriller from Well Go USA Soars onto Blu-Ray, Digital & DVD in March

Normally associated with Asian action cinema, Well Go USA is switching it up a little this March with the release of the new WWII thriller The Pilot. The film, which hails from Russia has debuted new key art and footage as of yesterday so check it out below and get ready for some period war action!


Based on a true story: in 1941, a Russian WWII pilot crash-lands deep in enemy territory. Seriously injured, he must battle hunger, extreme cold, and wild animals—all while evading Nazi soldiers—if he is ever to make it home alive.

Based on the true story of Aleksey Maresyev—a World War II pilot whose fighter plane was shot down over the German-occupied Novgorod Region—the action-packed thriller THE PILOT hits Digital, Blu-rayand DVD March 1 from Well Go USA Entertainment. Director Renat Davletyarov (The Dawns Here Are Quiet) and cast members Pyotr Fyodorov (Sputnik, The Icebreaker, The Duelist), Anna Peskova (Good Boy), Pavel Osadchy, Maksim Emelyanov (The Blackout, The Search) and Nikoloz Paikridze bring to life the exciting story of a highly decorated heroic Russian pilot who was shot down behind enemy lines and faces a relentless test of physical and mental endurance—battling hunger, extreme cold, and wild animals, all while evading Nazi soldiers—as he attempts to return home. The bonus features include an English dub.
