Upon hearing the news and now seeing the trailer today, Netflix’s upcoming sequel film Fistful of Vengeance has shot straight up my must watch list for February. Iko Uwais, Lewis Tan and company definitely brought the fever pitched, bone crunching goods that mixes Kung Fu, Gun Fu and Hoodoo into one sweat inducing package.
To aptly pump you up even more, new images and a martial arts action approved poster have debuted online to further wet your appetite for the movie and you can officially check them out in the gallery below!

The official synopsis for Fistful of Vengeance reads: Super-powered assassin Kai and friends Lu Xin and Tommy track a killer from San Francisco’s Chinatown to Thailand to avenge the death of a loved one. But their hunt soon entangles them with old enemies, a mysterious billionaire and an ancient mystical force bent on taking over the world. Iko Uwais (The Raid) stars with Lewis Tan (Mortal Kombat), Lawrence Kao (Max Steel) and Pearl Thusi (Queen Sono) in this fast-and-furious martial arts action film.
Roel Reiné (Redbad, Hard Target 2) helmed the follow up. The series debuted in 2019 on the streaming service and many had been led to believe that the show was one and done but now with the upcoming movie ready to strike, it was also reported a while back that Netflix is still open to a possible second season and/or more films in the franchise. Cameron Litvack, Jessica Chou, and Yalun, who all penned the first season, returned to write the film with Living Films producing.
Along with Uwais and Tan, Lawrence Kao, and JuJu Chan Szeto also return for the movie while new cast additions include Pearl Thusi, Francesca Corney, Warrior’s Jason Tobin, and Rhatha Phongam to round it out.
Fistful of Vengeance hits Netflix on February 17th!
