UPDATE: During tonight’s NFL playoff game, Disney and Marvel Studios unveiled the long awaited and action packed new trailer for Moon Knight starring Oscar Isaac. There’s no shortage of action and we get to see Ethan Hawke’s mysterious new villain more. It’s being reported that Hawke is playing Dr. Arthur Harrow who only appeared in one issue of the comic.
There is also new key art available which is very enticing and I’m amped for this one as Moon Knight has always been an unsung favorite of mine.
We also have a launch date of March 30th for the series so pump yourself up with the new footage below!
Official Synopsis: The series follows Steven Grant, a mild-mannered gift-shop employee, who becomes plagued with blackouts and memories of another life. Steven discovers he has dissociative identity disorder and shares a body with mercenary Marc Spector. As Steven/Marc’s enemies converge upon them, they must navigate their complex identities while thrust into a deadly mystery among the powerful gods of Egypt.

(Original Post): Moon Knight is certainly one of the most popular albeit obscure properties in the Marvel Universe but that’s about to change with the upcoming series featuring Oscar Isaac in the signature role. I’ve always been a fan of the character and put him right up there with The Punisher as he is without a doubt one of the most complex anti-heroes in the MCU.
With that, we have our first look footage as a trailer teaser has dropped promising an extended look at the series this Monday during the NFL playoffs. Check out Isaac and co-star Ethan Hawke in action below!
“A new globetrotting action-adventure series featuring a complex vigilante who suffers from dissociative identity disorder. The multiple identities who live inside him find themselves thrust into a deadly war of the gods against the backdrop of modern and ancient Egypt.”
The character of Moon Knight was created in 1975 by Doug Moench and Don Perlin. Isaacs will star as the titular character of former mercenary Mark Spector who is a superhero who uses multiple identities to fight crime.
Moon Knight also stars Mary Calamawy and Mohamed Diab along with Justin Benson & Aaron Moorhead helmed the episodes.
Isaac is starring along with Ethan Hawke who will be playing the show’s main villain who goes up against Spector. The series was written and developed by The Umbrella Academy‘s Jeremy Slater with episodes directed by Egyptian filmmaker Mohamed Diab and Synchronic duo Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead.
I love that these lesser known characters in Marvel’s arsenal are getting some respect and streaming is a great location for this property and others like She-Hulk which is also coming soon.

Moon Knight doesn’t have a launch date yet but sources are saying that it’s coming sooner than we think so hopefully expect a date to be attached with the new trailer.
Keep it locked and loaded right here for more on Isaac, Moon Knight and more this Monday as we await the new trailer. Remember, we are your destination for everything action in 2022 and beyond!
